Anvita Sagar, also known as Parvathy, is an Indian actress, model, dancer, and singer who primarily works in the Kannada and Tulu entertainment industries. Born on 20 February 1992 in Sagar, Shivamogga district of Karnataka, she developed an interest in media and performing arts from a young age. She completed her schooling in Sagar before pursuing higher education in Mangalore, where she earned a BBA degree and later completed an MBA from SDM College. Coming from a supportive family background, she is also the younger sister of Tulu film actor Anoop Sagar.

Biography

Before entering films and television, Anvita worked as a presenter on Namma TV for nearly four years. Her experience as a television host helped her gain confidence and visibility in the entertainment field. She made her acting debut in 2015 with the Tulu film Dhand, directed by Ranjith Bajpe, and gradually established herself in both Tulu and Kannada cinema through films such as Petkammi, Bale Pudar Deeka E Preethig, Banna Banna Badbu, Snehachakra, Mayakannadi, and Jeevana Yagna. Her performances, especially in regional cinema, earned her recognition among Kannada and coastal Karnataka audiences.

Anvita became more widely popular through Kannada television serials. She gained major attention for her role as Adhya in the popular Zee Kannada serial Gattimela, where her screen presence and acting skills attracted a strong fan following. She has also appeared in the Udaya TV serial Anna Thangi as Jyoti. Known for portraying emotionally expressive and relatable characters, she has emerged as one of the promising actresses in Kannada television. Alongside acting, she continues to be active in modeling, dance, and stage performances.
