Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Filmycast, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement or use the service with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us about unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Usernames, avatars, or account activity must not impersonate another person or mislead others about your identity or affiliation.

• Profile claims: We may request reasonable evidence before granting control of or accepting sensitive changes to a profile.
• Review: New or edited records may be scheduled, held for review, marked as duplicates, limited to direct viewing, or archived.
• Enforcement: We may restrict or suspend accounts used for abuse, deception, unauthorized access, or repeated policy violations.

3. Directory Information

Filmycast is an independent entertainment directory, not a talent agency, employer, studio, network, or official representative of every listed person or production. Directory information may come from contributors, editors, rights holders, and publicly available sources. We aim for accuracy but do not guarantee that every biography, credit, date, relationship, image, link, or availability detail is complete or current. Please report corrections through the contact page.

4. Your Contributions

You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Filmycast a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting, display, distribute, and promote that content as needed to operate and improve the service. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions, that your submission is not knowingly false or misleading, and that it does not violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights. We may edit, reject, remove, merge, or reclassify submissions.

5. Comments and Community Conduct

Comments and other community submissions must be respectful and relevant. Do not post harassment, threats, hate speech, explicit abuse, spam, unlawful material, private contact information, malicious links, or content that infringes another person's rights. Comments may be automatically held for review and may be removed without notice.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Accessing accounts, administrative areas, or data without authorization.
• Interfering with security, availability, rate limits, or the normal operation of the service.
• Uploading malware, harmful code, deceptive links, or content designed to exploit other users.
• Using automated collection at a volume that burdens the service, bypasses controls, or republishes substantial portions of the database without permission.
• Using Filmycast to spam, impersonate, defraud, harass, or violate applicable law or third-party rights.

7. Images, Videos, and Third-Party Services

Some images, videos, social profiles, streaming destinations, advertisements, and other resources are hosted or operated by third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. Filmycast does not control their availability, accuracy, safety, licensing, or content. Do not upload or link media unless you are authorized to do so. Rights holders may contact us to report material they believe infringes their rights.

8. Service Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or policy enforcement. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination, including licenses, disclaimers, and limitations, will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or availability of directory information or third-party content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Filmycast will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Questions, correction requests, and content reports can be submitted through the contact page or sent to legal@filmycast.com.
