Manvitha Kamath was born to Harish Kamath and Sujatha Kamath on 13 April in Mangalore. She was brought up in Kalasa of Chikmagalur till SSLC, later pursued her PU and Degree in Sharada PU college and graduated in Journalism, Animation and English literature from St.Aloysius College Mangalore. She worked for more than a year in Radio Mirchi from Mangalore prior and was hosting a show named Khiladi 983.

Summary
Manvita entered the Kannada film industry after being noticed by director Duniya Soori, who selected her for the lead role in Kendasampige (2015). Her natural command over different Kannada dialects and experience in theatre helped her stand out during auditions. The film became commercially successful and established her as a promising newcomer. She later appeared in films such as Tagaru, Kanaka, Tharakaasura, Relax Satya, India Vs England, and Shiva 143. Her performance in Tagaru alongside Shiva Rajkumar received critical acclaim and earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada.
Apart from acting, Manvita has also explored entrepreneurship and creative business ventures. In 2020, she co-founded Studio Manèkin, an animation and pre-visualization studio, with Netherlands-based animator Ankita Khini. She also launched the luxury clothing brand Manèkin in collaboration with designer Soumya SK. Her interests in animation, media, theatre, and fashion reflect her creative background beyond cinema.
In her personal life, Manvita married music producer Arun on 1 May 2024 in her hometown Kalasa. The wedding followed traditional Konkani customs and was held at a temple, fulfilling the wish of her late mother. Over the years, she has earned several recognitions, including the SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Actress for Kendasampige and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada for Tagaru.
