Amruthadhaare

Amruthadhaare is a Kannada-language family drama that premiered on Zee Kannada on May 29, 2023. The series centers on Goutham Dewan, a wealthy and successful Bengaluru businessman, and Bhoomika Sadashiva, an educated woman from a middle-class family. Their relationship begins as a marriage of convenience, with a considerable age difference between them, but gradually develops through companionship, disagreements, trust and affection. The show is adapted from the Hindi series Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.

Rajesh Nataranga plays Goutham Dewan, while Chaya Singh portrays Bhoomika, the female lead. The supporting cast includes Vanitha Vasu as Shakuntala, Sihi Kahi Chandru as Sadashiva, Chitra Shenoy as Mandakini and other performers including Sara Annaiah and Shashi Hegde. The series explores the couple's evolving relationship while also giving considerable importance to their families, particularly the conflicts surrounding Goutham's stepmother Shakuntala and her children.

At the heart of the story is the gradual transformation of Goutham and Bhoomika's unconventional marriage. What begins primarily as an arrangement develops into a relationship built around friendship and emotional understanding. Their journey is repeatedly challenged by family tensions, misunderstandings, personal differences and attempts by other characters to interfere with their relationship. This combination of romance, family conflict and everyday emotional situations forms the central narrative of the series.

Amruthadhaare has developed into a long-running Kannada television drama, with episodes continuing to follow Goutham and Bhoomika as their family circumstances evolve. The series is produced for Zee Kannada and is also available through ZEE5, where episodes have continued to be released. By September 2026, ZEE5 listed more than 1,070 episodes, demonstrating the show's extended run and continuing storyline.
