Before entering films, Manushi was widely admired for her academic achievements, confidence, and social initiatives. During her Miss World journey, she launched “Project Shakti,” an awareness campaign focused on menstrual hygiene and women’s health. She later expanded this initiative across different parts of India and also worked with international humanitarian campaigns, including efforts in South Africa to support affordable sanitary pad production. Her advocacy work led to collaborations with organizations such as UN Women and recognition from the Haryana government for campaigns promoting women’s health and anemia awareness.
Following her successful pageant career, Manushi transitioned into the entertainment industry and made her acting debut opposite Akshay Kumar in the historical drama Samrat Prithviraj, where she portrayed Princess Sanyogita. The film marked her official entry into Bollywood and introduced her to mainstream cinema audiences. She later appeared in projects such as The Great Indian Family alongside Vicky Kaushal, the bilingual action film Operation Valentine opposite Varun Tej, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, where she played Captain Misha Kapoor.
Apart from acting, Manushi has established herself as a prominent public figure and brand ambassador. She has collaborated with major brands including Adidas India, Clovia, and The Estée Lauder Companies. In 2023, she made her debut appearance at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, further increasing her international visibility. She also became the global ambassador for the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India and launched her own sustainable swimwear and resort wear brand called Dweep in 2024.
In recent years, Manushi has continued expanding her film career with projects such as Maalik opposite Rajkummar Rao and Tehran alongside John Abraham. Along with her work in cinema and fashion, she remains known for her elegance, social awareness initiatives, and influence as one of India’s most recognized former beauty queens turned actresses.
