Devika Bhat

Actress

Summary

Devika Bhat is an Indian actress who works primarily in the Kannada film industry. She made her acting debut with the 2026 Kannada film Brindavihari, directed by Srinivas Raju and starring Golden Star Ganesh in the lead role. Devika plays Radha in the film, which is described as a romantic musical entertainer with elements of comedy, drama and family relationships. The film also features Malvika Sharma, Rangayana Raghu, Achyuth Kumar and Sadhu Kokila in important roles.

Brindavihari marks an important beginning in Devika Bhat's career, as she shares the screen with established Kannada actor Ganesh in her first film. Her presence was introduced to audiences through the film's music, including the romantic song "Radha Radha", which features Devika alongside Ganesh and Malvika Sharma. The song was composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, with vocals by Sid Sriram and Chinmayi and lyrics by V. Nagendra Prasad.

Devika Bhat is also making her entry into Telugu cinema with Kiran Abbavaram's upcoming film, initially referred to as KA13 and later officially titled Reality. The project marks Kiran Abbavaram's directorial debut, with the actor also handling the story and screenplay while playing the lead role. Devika has been cast as the female lead opposite him. The film is being produced under the Joy Films banner and is scheduled for a Christmas 2026 release.

Reality is described as a family-oriented entertainer centred on Anandam, a character played by Kiran Abbavaram who runs a hotel and takes pride in his work and simple life. Devika Bhat is part of the principal cast alongside veteran performers including Sharat Kumar, Sai Kumar, Rohini, Annapurnamma and Sudharshan. The project gives Devika an opportunity to expand beyond Kannada cinema and establish herself in the Telugu film industry soon after her debut.

With Brindavihari and Reality, Devika Bhat has begun her film career with projects in both Kannada and Telugu cinema. Her debut alongside Ganesh in Brindavihari and her subsequent role as the female lead in Kiran Abbavaram's directorial debut have positioned her as a new actress to watch in South Indian cinema.
