Born on 6 April 1989 in Hyderabad, Varshini was raised in a Tamil family. She studied at Chirec International School before earning a bachelor's degree in Electronics from St. Joseph's Degree and PG College, affiliated with Osmania University. She began her career as a model before transitioning into acting, where she quickly gained recognition for her performances.

Over the years, Varshini has appeared in films such as Lovers, Kaai Raja Kaai, Nannu Dochukunduvate, Malli Modalaindi, Shaakuntalam, Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana, and Enugu Thondam Ghatikachalam.
