Nyra Banerjee

Nyra made her acting debut in Telugu cinema with Aa Okkadu, where she played the role of Dr. Pavithra. She later appeared in several Telugu productions including Orange, Saradaga Kasepu, Kotha Janta, and the commercially successful Temper opposite N. T. Rama Rao Jr.. Her performances in Telugu films helped establish her presence in South Indian cinema. She subsequently expanded into Malayalam films with Koothara, Tamil cinema with Aambala, and Kannada films such as Savaari 2, Supari Surya, and Tiger.

In Hindi cinema, Nyra made her Bollywood debut with Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal and later appeared in projects like One Night Stand and Ishq Ne Krazy Kiya Re. Apart from acting, she also worked as an assistant director on the film Azhar in 2016, showcasing her interest in filmmaking beyond performance.

Nyra gained major popularity on Indian television with her lead role as Divya Sharma Shergill in the supernatural drama Divya Drishti in 2019. The show became highly popular among television audiences and significantly increased her recognition nationwide. She later continued her television success through series such as Excuse Me Maadam, Rakshabandhan... Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal, and the supernatural show Pishachini, where she played the titular role.

In recent years, Nyra has also become a familiar face in reality television and digital entertainment. She participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 in 2023, finishing among the top contestants, and later entered Bigg Boss 18 in 2024. Alongside acting, she has appeared in numerous music videos and web series, including Skyfire, Operation Cobra, and Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. With her multilingual acting career and strong television presence, Nyra Banerjee continues to be recognized as a versatile performer in Indian entertainment.
