Ashika Ranganath is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Kannada cinema, while also appearing in Telugu and Tamil films. Born on August 5, 1996, in Tumakuru, Karnataka, she entered the industry with Crazy Boy (2016). Before pursuing acting professionally, she had an interest in dance and had participated in a dance reality show, which helped her overcome her initial stage and camera apprehension.

Her early filmography included Mugulu Nage, Raju Kannada Medium, Mass Leader and Garuda, but it was Raambo 2 (2018) opposite Sharan that became a major turning point. The film and its popular song “Chuttu Chuttu” significantly increased her recognition, and Ashika has described the movie as the point where audiences began to identify her by name. She subsequently became more selective about scripts and sought roles that offered greater scope for performance.
