Summary
Arathi Padubidri is a Kannada actress, model and dancer who has built her career across television, reality shows and films. Professionally trained as a physiotherapist, she had a strong interest in acting from a young age and explored modelling before entering the entertainment industry. Her first television opportunity came with Hoomale, where she played the hero’s elder sister Ambika.
Arathi later became familiar to Kannada television audiences through Gattimela, where she took over the role of Arathi, the elder sister in the popular family drama. She had earlier participated in the dance reality show Dancing Champion and finished fourth along with her partner Sagar, showcasing her dancing skills alongside her acting.
She subsequently appeared in Brahmagantu, taking on the character of Sanjana. The role gave her an opportunity to portray a more modern and initially negative-shaded character, which was a contrast to the relatively traditional roles she had played earlier. Her performance and screen presence helped establish her as a versatile Kannada television performer.
Arathi has also ventured into Kannada cinema with Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali and continues to balance acting with her interests in modelling, dance and social media. In 2025, she was associated with Dance Karnataka Dance Season 9, where she emerged as a finalist, further highlighting her abilities as a performer beyond television acting. Her appearance in Nee Nange Allava in 2026 adds to her growing screen presence in Kannada entertainment.
