Aishwarya Majmudar
Summary
Aishwarya Majmudar is an Indian playback singer known for her versatility across Bollywood and regional music, especially Gujarati songs. She rose to national prominence at just 15 after winning the 2007–08 reality show STAR Voice of India – Chhote Ustad, which marked the beginning of her professional music career. Over the years, she has lent her voice to a range of film songs, including her Bollywood debut track “Hari Puttar Is a Dude” from Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors (2011), and has also contributed to Kannada and Gujarati cinema with songs like “Ele Elege” from Crazy Loka and “Aa Safar” from Kevi Rite Jaish.
In addition to playback singing, Aishwarya has released multiple albums such as Saat Suro na Sarname, Paalav, Swarabhishek, and Videshini, showcasing her strong roots in traditional and contemporary Gujarati music. She also recorded the popular theme song “Asmani Rang Hoon” for the TV show Dill Mill Gayye. With several accolades to her name, including three Gujarat State Awards for Best Playback Singer, she continues to be a prominent voice in Indian music.
