Summary

Advika Shetty is a Mangaluru-based dancer, actress and Yakshagana artiste who began performing from a young age and gained national recognition through television dance reality shows. At just nine years old, she became one of the contestants on Zee TV’s Dance India Dance Little Masters Season 3, where she was described as a talented young dancer known for her expressive performances and energetic stage presence. She later appeared on Dancing Star Season 2 and Dhee Junior Season 1, establishing herself as a familiar face in the regional dance and entertainment scene.

Her achievements extend beyond television. Advika has represented coastal Karnataka through dance and traditional performance, including Yakshagana, and has been recognised with numerous awards for her cultural accomplishments. In 2017, she was selected for recognition at the Karnataka state-level Children's Day celebrations for exceptional talent in the cultural field, with reports noting her participation in national, state and district-level competitions as well as international dance events.

Advika has also received the State Women and Child Welfare Department’s Exceptional Achievement Award and recognition from Dakshina Kannada for her accomplishments. She was associated with the titles Missy Mangalore 2013 and Missy Talent, further reflecting her achievements in cultural and youth events.

As her career has developed, Advika has continued to remain active in dance, cultural performances and entertainment. In 2026, St Aloysius University described her as a nationally recognised dancer, actor and Yakshagana artiste, popularly known as the “Little Princess of Tulunadu” and a Tuluvasiri title holder. The institution noted that she has performed in more than 1,500 shows, including over 200 Yakshagana performances, and has received hundreds of awards and honours.

Her continued appearances at cultural and entertainment events demonstrate her transition from a child dance reality-show performer into an established young performing artist, with dance, acting and Yakshagana forming the core of her artistic career.
