Vasanthi Krishnan is an Indian actress and model who primarily works in the Telugu entertainment industry. Born on May 25, 1997, in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, she gained popularity through Telugu television serials and reality shows before entering films. Fondly known as “Vashu” among her fans, Vasanthi has built a strong presence on television with her energetic personality, glamorous appearance, and confident screen presence. She became widely recognized after participating in the popular reality show Bigg Boss Telugu Season 6, which significantly increased her fan following across Telugu-speaking audiences.

After completing her higher secondary education at Narayana Junior College in Tirupati, Vasanthi moved to Bengaluru to pursue a course in aviation. Interestingly, she once aspired to become an aeronautical engineer, but life eventually led her toward modelling and acting. Her journey in entertainment began with television, making her debut in the Telugu serial Siri Siri Muvvalu in 2019. She later appeared in other popular Telugu serials including Guppedantha Manasu and Gorintaku, where she gradually established herself as a familiar face on Telugu television.

Vasanthi entered the film industry in 2021 with the Telugu movie Cauliflower, in which she played the role of Neelaveni opposite actor Sampoornesh Babu.
