Tanvi Mundle is a Marathi actress and theatre performer from Kudal in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, who has built her career across television, cinema and live theatre. She developed an interest in acting during her college years, participating in youth festivals, one-act plays and state-level competitions before pursuing formal training at Lalit Kala Kendra, Gurukul, Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her academic background is distinctive as she first completed a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Mumbai and later pursued postgraduate training in theatre and acting. Her early stage experience gave her a strong foundation in performance and helped shape the naturalistic style that later became a feature of her television work.

Mundle made her film debut with Cycle (2018) before gaining wider recognition on television with Pahile Na Mi Tula (2021), in which she played Manasi Desai. Her portrayal of Manasi earned appreciation for both her acting and Marathi dialogue delivery, and she received the Waman Hari Pethe Special Award at the Zee Marathi Awards. She subsequently took on the lead role of Kaveri Madhukar Karekar in Colors Marathi's Bhagya Dile Tu Mala, opposite Vivek Sangle. The character's simple, grounded personality connected strongly with viewers, and Mundle spoke about receiving affection from fans and the encouragement she received from senior performers such as Nivedita Saraf.

Her work has since expanded beyond daily television serials into films, digital productions and theatre. Mundle appeared as Manasvi Deshpande (Manu) in the 2024 series Maeri, and also featured in Housemates and Colorphool. Theatre remains an important part of her artistic identity, with her performance as Shivani in the Marathi play Kutumb Kirrtan receiving attention for its combination of comedy, family drama and social themes. In an interview about the production, Mundle described the play as a reflection of a typical middle-class family and spoke positively about playing the outspoken daughter-in-law at the centre of its conflicts.

Mundle has also spoken openly about the personal experiences that have shaped her journey. She has described her late father as a particularly close friend and an important source of encouragement when she was entering the entertainment industry, saying that he believed she would establish an identity of her own. She has recalled their close relationship and their regular long drives together, and has expressed how meaningful it would have been for him to see her growing recognition. Away from acting, she has shown a strong attachment to Marathi language and culture, recalling winning a school elocution competition and speaking about the importance of preserving Marathi. Her combination of formal theatre training, television experience and continued stage work has made her a versatile performer in contemporary Marathi entertainment.
