Raai Laxmi

In the early phase of her career, she appeared in several Tamil and Kannada films, including Kundakka Mandakka, Dharmapuri, and Valmiki, before expanding into Malayalam cinema with Rock n’ Roll alongside Mohanlal. She gained further recognition through successful Malayalam films like Annan Thampi, 2 Harihar Nagar, and Chattambinadu opposite Mammootty. Her performance in Dhaam Dhoom (2008), where she played a lawyer, earned her critical appreciation and a Filmfare nomination.

Raai Laxmi achieved wider popularity with commercially successful films such as Kanchana and Mankatha, where her negative role received positive reviews. She later reprised her role in the Kannada remake Kalpana (2012). Over the years, she has appeared in a mix of mainstream and experimental films, including Aranmanai (2014), Bangalore Naatkal (2016), and Cinderella (2021).

She also explored Bollywood with films like Akira (2016) and took on a lead role in Julie 2. Known for her glamorous screen presence and adaptability across languages, Raai Laxmi has sustained a long and dynamic career in Indian cinema, continuing to remain active across industries.
