Summary

Pragati Srivastava is an Indian actress and former model who began her screen career in Telugu cinema before moving towards Hindi films. Originally from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, she studied at Loyola School and later attended St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai, where she pursued studies related to public policy. Before entering films, she appeared in advertising campaigns for well-known brands, gradually finding her way into acting.

She made her Telugu film debut with Manu Charitra (2023), playing Janani Patel, and went on to appear opposite Virat Karrna in Peddha Kapu - 1 (2023). Her role as Neelaveni in Gam Gam Ganesha (2024), alongside Anand Deverakonda, further introduced her to Telugu cinema audiences. These films gave her opportunities to take on different characters and build experience in the industry.

Pragati is now preparing to reach a wider audience through Hindi cinema. She stars as Paridhi in Nakhrewaalii, a romantic comedy produced by Aanand L. Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions, scheduled for theatrical release on October 30, 2026. She has also been associated with upcoming projects involving filmmaker Prakash Jha and Maddock Films. Having moved from modelling and Telugu films towards larger Hindi-language opportunities, Pragati is steadily expanding her career while continuing to learn from experienced filmmakers.
