Nora Fatehi
Summary
Nora began her acting career with the Hindi film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans and soon gained attention through special dance appearances in Telugu films such as Temper, Baahubali: The Beginning, and Kick 2. Her dance performance in the song “Manohari” from Baahubali: The Beginning helped her gain wider visibility in South Indian cinema. She also appeared in Malayalam films including Double Barrel and Kayamkulam Kochunni.
Her major breakthrough in Bollywood came in 2018 with the recreated song “Dilbar” from Satyameva Jayate. The song became a massive hit and achieved record-breaking online views, establishing Nora as a leading dance performer in Indian cinema. She later delivered several popular dance numbers including “O Saki Saki”, “Ek Toh Kum Zindagani”, and “Garmi” from Street Dancer 3D. Alongside dance performances, she also acted in films such as Bharat and Bhuj: The Pride of India.
Apart from films, Nora participated in reality television shows like Bigg Boss 9 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, later returning as a judge on dance-based programs. In 2019, she launched her international English single Pepeta with Tanzanian artist Rayvanny. She also featured in Light The Sky, one of the official songs of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar alongside artists RedOne, Manal, Balqees, and Rahma Riad.
