Summary
Kaashima Rafi, also known by her original name Asma Rafi, is a Bengaluru-born Indian actress and model who has worked primarily in South Indian cinema. Born on December 17, 1995, she completed her schooling at Godwin Public School, Bengaluru, and graduated from Sindhi College. She also participated in the Miss Bengaluru beauty pageant, where she emerged as a runner-up.
Kaashima began her career as a model and appeared in television commercials before moving into films. Her early acting work included the Kannada film Jhan Jhana Jhan, followed by the Tamil film Kadampari (2021), in which she played Jency.
She subsequently appeared in films across Kannada and Telugu cinema, including Kasthuri Mahal, Temper, and Kalapuram (2022). In Kalapuram, she portrayed Indu alongside Sanchitha Poonacha and Satyam Rajesh. She was also part of the cast of the Kannada film South Indian Hero (2023), starring alongside Sarthak, Vijay Chendoor and others.
In 2024, Kaashima was reported to be working on Victoria Mansion, a Kannada film directed by Rajesh Balipa, further expanding her presence in the regional film industry. More recently, she was announced as the lead actress of the Kannada film Nee Nange Allava, adding another prominent role to her filmography.
