Bigg Boss Kannada season 10

Bigg Boss Kannada Season 10 was the tenth season of the popular Kannada-language reality show Bigg Boss, produced by Endemol Shine India (later merged with Banijay). The season premiered on October 8, 2023, on Colors Kannada and streamed digitally on JioCinema. Veteran Kannada actor Sudeep, popularly known as Kichcha Sudeep, returned as the host for the tenth consecutive season, continuing his long-standing association with the franchise.

The season carried the celebratory theme “Happy Bigg Boss” to mark the tenth anniversary of Bigg Boss Kannada. Like previous editions, the show followed celebrity contestants living together inside a specially designed house, completely isolated from the outside world for 112 days. Contestants performed weekly tasks, formed alliances, handled emotional conflicts, and faced eliminations based on public voting. One of the unique highlights of Season 10 was its grand finale format, where for the first time in the show’s history, six contestants entered the finale week before one contestant was eliminated just a day prior to the final winner announcement.

Actor and model Karthik Mahesh emerged as the winner of the season, while Drone Prathap finished as the runner-up and Sangeetha Sringeri secured the position of second runner-up. The season became one of the most successful editions of Bigg Boss Kannada in terms of television ratings, reportedly achieving a peak TRP of 7.9 TVR across Karnataka, making it one of the franchise’s strongest-performing seasons.

The contestant lineup included a mix of actors, influencers, television personalities, and entertainers such as Vinay Gowda, Namratha Gowda, Neethu Vanajakshi, Rakshak Bullet, Tanisha Kuppanda, Tukali Santosh, Snehith Gowda, Bhagyashri Rao, Siri Sirija, Michael Ajay, Pavi Poovappa, Snake Shyam, Varthur Santhosh, Gaurish Akki, and Eshani Chandrashekar. The season was especially noted for intense rivalries, emotional friendships, controversies, and strong audience engagement both on television and social media.

The show also featured several commercial partnerships, with brands such as Freedom Refined Oil, Nippon Paint, Levista Instant Coffee, Cera, Swastiks Masala, India Gate Basmati Rice, Amrith Noni, Haldiram’s, and Confident Group associated as sponsors and partners throughout the season.
