Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 is the twelfth installment of the popular Kannada-language reality television show Bigg Boss Kannada, hosted once again by Kiccha Sudeepa. Premiering on 28 September 2025 on Colors Kannada and streaming on JioHotstar, the season ran for 112 days and featured 24 contestants from diverse backgrounds. A unique twist was introduced in the premiere, where viewers voted in real time to decide whether contestants would enter the house individually (“onti”) or in pairs (“janti”), adding a fresh dynamic to the competition.

Midway through the season, the show faced an unexpected disruption when the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board ordered a temporary shutdown of the studio due to environmental violations. The contestants were briefly evacuated, and the show resumed the next day after compliance measures were addressed. Despite this interruption, the season maintained strong viewer engagement through its mix of drama, tasks, and interpersonal conflicts inside the house.

The season concluded on 18 January 2026 with Gilli Nata (Nataraj) emerging as the winner, earning the BBK 12 trophy. Rakshita Shetty finished as the runner-up, while Ashwini Gowda secured third place. Overall, Season 12 stood out for its innovative format, unexpected challenges, and continued popularity among Kannada television audiences.
