Prakriti Kakar

She began her professional journey with the title track of the Bollywood film Tutiya Dil (2012), composed by Ram Sampath. Over the following years, she contributed vocals to several Bollywood projects, including songs from Boss, Nasha, Alone, and Khamoshiyan. Her collaborations with music composer Ankit Tiwari, especially songs like Katra Katra and Bheegh Loon, brought her wider recognition for her soft yet expressive singing style.

Beyond Bollywood playback music, Prakriti became highly popular through independent pop releases with her sister Sukriti. The duo released successful tracks such as Mafiyaan, Kehndi Haan Kehndi Naa, Hum Tum, Sona Lagda, and Majnu, which gained millions of views online and established them as major youth pop artists in India. In 2021, the sisters collaborated with Dua Lipa and Amaal Mallik for an Indian remix version of the global hit Levitating, further expanding their international visibility.

Prakriti and Sukriti also achieved global recognition when their song Naari reached number two on the global Billboard charts in 2021. The same year, they performed at Times Square in New York City, marking an important milestone in their careers. In her personal life, Prakriti married entrepreneur Vinay Anand in January 2026 at Fort Barwara in Jaipur. With her blend of Bollywood playback success and modern independent music, Prakriti Kakar continues to be one of the prominent young voices in contemporary Indian music.
