Vijay Suriya is an Indian actor and television presenter primarily known for his work in the Kannada entertainment industry. Born on September 7, 1990, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, he rose to prominence through his portrayal of Siddhartha in the highly successful Kannada television serial Agnisakshi. His performance in the show earned him widespread recognition and established him as one of the most popular faces on Kannada television.

Vijay completed his schooling at Clarence Public School and pursued his pre-university education at Christ University. Driven by a passion for acting, he further honed his skills at Whistling Woods International, the renowned film institute founded by filmmaker Subhash Ghai. His formal training provided a strong foundation for a career that would span both television and cinema.

He made his acting debut in the Kannada film Crazy Loka (2012), playing Abhay alongside Harshika Poonacha. While his film debut introduced him to audiences, it was Agnisakshi that transformed him into a household name. His on-screen pairing with Vaishnavi Gowda became particularly popular, earning the duo several audience-choice awards and widespread appreciation. He later appeared in serials such as Lakshmi Baramma and Premaloka, further strengthening his television career.

Alongside television, Vijay has maintained a steady presence in Kannada cinema. His notable film credits include Ishtakamya, Kaddu Mucchi, Gaalipata 2, Useless Fellow, Drishti Bottu, and Switch Case N. He has also explored hosting, appearing as a presenter on entertainment programs such as Super Minute and comedy-based television formats.

Expanding his reach beyond Kannada entertainment, Vijay made his Telugu television debut with Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini, where he portrayed Eshwar, a visually impaired character whose life changes after an accident. Off-screen, Vijay Suriya married Chaitra, an IT professional and family friend, in 2019. The couple has two children.
