Karthik Jayaram is an Indian actor primarily known for his work in the Kannada film and television industry. He gained widespread popularity for his role as Jay “JK” Krishna in the Colors Kannada serial Ashwini Nakshatra (2013–2015), which made him a familiar face among television audiences. His strong screen presence and charismatic performance in the show established him as a leading TV actor.

Karthik further expanded his recognition across India by portraying the iconic role of Ravana in Siya Ke Ram on Star Plus, showcasing his ability to handle mythological and intense characters. He also appeared as Aadishesha in Naagini 2 and played the antagonist Iblis in Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, demonstrating versatility across genres.

In films, he started with supporting roles in movies like Kempe Gowda (2011) and Vishnuvardhana, before landing his first lead role in Just Love (2014).
